A Cold Day for Murder

A Cold Day for Murder by Dana Stabenow

This is the first in the Kate Shugak series. This book takes place in the wilds of Alaska. Kate is an Aleut who has a history as a DA however because of a case gone wrong, Kate has moved back to her childhome town and now lives by herself in a cabin in the midle of the wilderness. Kate's old boss comes to visit and asks for her help in finding 2 people who have recently gone missing, a Ranger and then the investigator who went after him.

I thought this book was good for the first in a series. I did get confused by all the names and all the people that were thrown into the story though. I do plan on reading the second one and hope that it helps clear up who all these people are.
