This is yet another Beaumont book. In this book, Beaumont is paired with a new detective that he can't stand. They set out to investigate what looks like a murder-suicide but ends up being a double homicide. This book was good..the normal Beaumont stuff. It was interesting to see how he worked with a partner who didn't like him too.
