I listened to this book in the car. I loved it! I might even go so far as to say this is my favorite Koontz book.
When Jimmy's mother is in the delivery her, his grandfather makes predictions - there will be 5 terrible days in Jimmy's life. This book goes through Jimmy's life and we exprience those 5 days with him.
