This is the third in the series.
Lydia is now married and everything seems to be going smoothly. She even rented out the apartment upstairs from her shop to Colette, a young women who seems very nice. Of course her sister thinks Colette is hiding something and isn't happy Lydia rented the apartment. As it turns out, Colette is hiding something. She is pregnant and is running from the father because she thinks he is smuggling people in from China.
This book is similar to others, Lydia forms a new class and Colette signs up. The only other new person is Susannah from the flower shop next door. Alix is also a major character in this book. Alix and Jordan are getting married but the wedding planning is out of control and it seems Alix has no say in what happens. It gets so bad that Alix isn't sure the wedding is going to happen.
To make matters worse...Lydia's niece, Julie, is involved in a carjacking and it has major effects on the family. Her Mom is having a hard time coping with it, which makes it harder for Julie to put it behind her. Plus...things seem to be getting worse for Lydia's Mom.
As I mentioned, this is the 3rd and most recent in the series. I have loved all three books. I have grown to really like the characters and even though new characters are introduced in each book...she still touches on all the other characters so we know how they are doing. I talked to others that read this book and most liked it but I know one who was disappointed with it. I have to say...I was not disappointed, if you liked the other 2 in the series, I would definitely pick up this one as well.

I hope to get it eventually but I know I will. :)
I read this one very recently and loved it. I also love the Cedar Cove series - anxiously awaiting number 7 in September.
I've read the first two, but haven't picked this one up yet. I also love her Cedar Cove series.
Loved the first in this series. It was the first Macomber I'd read. From your great review, I know I'll be reading more.
