TBR Challenge for 2008

I'm planning to do the TBR (To-Be-Read) challenge again. I didn't do so well in the challenge for 2007 but think that part of that is because I lost interest in the books that I picked - long before I picked them. haha! I thought I would read them if I put them on the list, but I didn't. So for 2008 I am selected books that I know I have had for 6 months or longer and that I know I want to read. I really want to read 1 on my main list and 1 on the alternates list each month, but we'll see how that goes. :)

List of 12 books:

A Charmed Death by Madelyn Alt
Guilty Pleasures by Barbara Bretton
Candy Apple Red by Nancy Bush
Storm Front by Jim Butcher
Witch Hunt by Shirley Damsgaard
Killer Pancakes by Diane Mott Davidson
The Apprentice by Tess Gerritsen
Spying in High Heels by Gemma Halliday
Shakespeare's Landlord by Charlaine Harris
Darkley Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay
The Widow of the South by Robert Hicks
The Cinderella Pact by Sarah Strohmeyer

List of 12 Alternates:

Every Step a Lotus; Shoes for..by Dorothy Ko
Salem Falls by Jodi Picoult
Glory in Death by J.D. Robb
Murder by the Glass by Michele Scott
Bubbles all the Way by Sarah Strohmeyer
Cane River by Lalita Tademy
Big Stone Gap by Adriana Trigiani
Tending Roses by Lisa Wingate
Murder with Reservations by Elaine Viets
Wicked by Gregory Maguire
Eleven Minutes by Paulo Coelho

hello!
I'm a big Paulo Coelho's fan and I don't know if you heard about his blog
http://www.paulocoelhoblog.com
I've started as a fan and now I'm collaborating with him and thought that you would like to enter his universe.
Check the blog.
if you want, or subscribe to his newsletter
http://www.warriorofthelight.com/engl/index.html
You'll see a community of warriors of light sharing ideas, dreams and most importantly following their personal legend.

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

The Warrior of Light knows when an enemy is stronger than he is. ( Manual of the Warrior of Light)

See u there and have a great day!
