Booking Through Thursday: Manual Labor Redux

Following up last week’s question about reading writing/grammar guides, this week, we’re expanding the question….

Scenario: You’ve just bought some complicated gadget home . . . do you read the accompanying documentation? Or not?
Well - it depends on the gadget. I would have to say that in most cases I will at least browse it. I don't always read it through completely, but I look at it.

Do you ever read manuals? Rarely. If I'm putting something together, than I do, but if I'm just using the item, then not usually. I just keep them handy for a quick reference guide.
How-to books? Not really, if I need to know something I usually look it up online. I guess it could be considered the same thing though, in a way.

Self-help guides? Don't believe I ever have.
Anything at all? haha! Not when it comes to manuals.

At least you keep the manuals handy – I usually end up throwing them away or filing them away someplace where I'm never able to find them again. Fortunately, my husband is much better organized as well as more technologically evolved.
