I know, I'm a tad late with this one, but I'm just now getting around to figuring it all out. I believe I might have a couple more coupons at home, but I'll just update the totals if I do.
In a nut shell, for the month of January I saved $86.02 by using coupons and taking advantage of rebates.
Grocery store:
01/01 - $3.45
01/30 - $12.77
(total: $16.22)
Books:
01/03 - $7.40 (I literally bought a paperback for $0.63 – I love when that happens!)
01/30 - $6.25
(total: $13.65)
Scrapbooking:
01/30 - $2.80
Restaurant:
01/04 - $1 – It's like I always say, every little bit helps
01/31 - $5
(total: $6)
Walgreens/Target:
01/04 - $13.07
01/10 - $3.00
01/30 - $12.95
(total: $29.02)
I also saved $18.33 by using rebates this month.

Very inspiring! I need to get into the coupon thing, but I when I actually bring them, I somehow forget to use them!
Shelley - It's hard in the beginning, but once you start and get into a habit/pattern, it gets easier. I also find it easier since I've kept track, it's become a game to me. haha! How much stuff can I really get for free or for almost nothing? haha!
Maybe the game playing will help me. My husband I cut out the darn things and then they either stay at home or we forge to use them. Seems silly not use them.
Beth - I used to do that. Now I've got quite a system for my coupon organization (it's in a binder) and to help me keep from forgetting it, I type up my grocery list and 3-hole punch it and put it in the front of the binder...can't go to the store without the list..therefore I never go without the coupons either.
