Simple Description
I'm not going to give too much of a description for this book because a) if you already read this series you don't really care what it's about, you still want to get your hands on a copy or b) you still haven't started this series but want to and if that's the case you really do need to start with #1 and not this one which is the latest in the series or c) you have no desire to read this series. now that that is over. The gist of this book is that the were population makes itself known to the world. Then Crystal, Jason's Ex is murdered. Then Sookie finds out that there is trouble in fairy land and she is a target. Let's mix into the story Eric's involvement with Sookie and Bills desire to still date Sookie. What does that give you? A fun book! Haha! I did enjoy this one more than I liked #8, the last one. I thought the author was losing her touch with that one and wasn't sure if this new one would live up to it. But..I did really enjoy this one and it was great to read about the happenings in Bon Temp.

You can almost always count on Harris to have several funny lines in her books. One of my favorites from this book is: " Something about putting on my underwear makes me feel more capable."

Why did I read this book?
I love this series and was able to use this book for a couple of challenges.

What I liked most:
There is almost never a dull minute.

Was there something I didn't like?
I thought it ended rather abruptly. I would have liked a bit more closure I think.

Do I recommend the book?
Yup. It's a really fun series if you like reading about vampires and another supernatural beings.
