I noticed in the Walgreens ad for my area (St. Louis, Mo) there was a coupon for $2 off of a paperback book. I had to stop by Walgreens yesterday so of course I took advantage of it.
Well..when I got home I looked at my receipt and the book had been on sale for $3.99 (instead of $7.99)! And..I still got the $2 off for the coupon. So I only paid $1.99 for the book. woohoo!
I have no idea if it was the book I bought that was on sale or if all of them are. I bought Dust to Dust by Heather Graham. I checked the ad and didn't see where the books were advertised as being on sale. I don't remember seeing a sale sign while I was looking at the books.
So..if you have a Walgreens by you - it might be worth stopping in to see if you can get a cheap book. I think I'll be stopping at another after work to see if I can get the same deal. If I do..I'll update this post.
