Simple Description:
Harrison Black has some new competition. Gretel Barnett has recently opened up a candle shop in their small town and she is determined to run his candle shop out of business. They both have a booth at the Founder's Day parade and unfortunately for Harrison, Gretel is murdered when he is walking behind her booth and he is immediately fingered as the prime suspect.
After a couple of days people begin to realize it wasn't him and the police start to look into somebody else. Unfortunately this other person is Harrison's friend and handyman at River's Edge. Harrison does some investigating on his own in hopes of clearing his friends name.

I really enjoy Tim Myer's books. I think it definitely takes a cozy mystery lover to like the books though. I don't think there is enough to them for others to like them, although that's my opinion.
However, for those of us who are fans of cozy mysteries and love the mystery thrown in along with all the normal day activities, this is a great series.
This book is part of my collection and was either bought or given to me.
