TBR Challenge 2010

I'm excited that once again MizB is hosting this challenge. This one shouldn't be a challenge to completed, but it always is. In 2009 I had planned on challenging myself to read all 24 books, that didn't happen. However I'm going to challenge myself to do that again this year. If I read 12, great - I do complete the challenge, if I read all 24 - awesome.

There is a dedicated page for this challenge, it can be found here. Please note..the sign-up is not currently up and per the post it won't be until January 1st.

The gist of the challenge is to pick 12 books that you have had for at least 6 months as of January 1st, 2010. You can also create a list of 12 alternate books. So at the most, you should have a list of 24 books that you have had for at least 6 months on the day the challenge begins. You can not substitute books on the list, you have to stick to the list. The challenge runs January through December.

Here's my list:

Main List of 12:
The Queen’s Fool by Philippa Gregory
The House on Tradd Street by Karen White
A Vintage Murder by Michele Scott
Trickster’s Choice by Tamara Pierce
Too Pretty to Die by Susan McBride
Ghouls Just Haunt to Have Fun by Victoria Laurie
Left to Die by Lisa Jackson
Blood Bound by Patricia Briggs
Bookmarked for Death by Lorna Barret
The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-time Indian by Sherman Alexi
The Witches Grave by Shirley Damsgaard
Marked by P.C. and Kristin Cast

Alternate list of 12:
Death Dealer by Heather Graham
The Rest Falls Away by Colleen Gleason
The Apprentice by Tess Gerritsen
Crime Brulee by Nancy Fairbanks
The Main Corpse by Diane Mott Davidson
Fowl Prey by Mary Daheim
A Rose from the Dead by Kate Collins
Fine Feathered Death by Linda O. Johnston
Feint of Art by Lind Hailey
A Hoe lot of Trouble by Heather Webber
Carbs and Cadavers by J. B. Stanley
A Flicker of a Doubt by Tim Myers
