Keepsake Crimes by Laura Childs

This is the first book in the Scrapbooking mystery series by Laura Childs. The main character is a woman named Carmela. She runs her own scrapbooking shop located in New Orleans. About 6 months ago her husband left her, said he needed time to find himself. During one of the Mardi Gras parades a man is found dead. Carmela’s estranged husband is the #1 suspect.

This is definitely a cozy mystery. Carmela knows that Shamus, the estranged husband, didn’t do it and even though she doesn’t want to get caught up in the mess, she doesn’t really have a choice, well, that and her curiosity get the best of her.

I enjoyed this book and do plan on reading the rest in the series.

Kris

Hey, I was searching blogs, and came onto yours, and I like it. I kinda landed here on accident while searching for something esle, but nice blog.. I got you bookmarked.

If you got time , go visit my site, it´s about diy scrapbooking. It pretty much covers diy scrapbooking and other similar topics available.

I skim a lot of blogs, and so far yours is in the Top 3 of my list of favorites. I'm going to dive in and try my hand at it, so wish me luck.

It'll be in a totally different area than yours (mine is about archivers scrapbooking) I know, it sounds strange, but it's like anything, once you learn more about it, it's pretty cool. It's mostly about archivers scrapbooking related articles and subjects.

Hello fellow fisherman,

Did you know that 16% of the U.S. population goes fishing at least 16 days a year?

Did you also know that over 75% of the nations fishermen do not fish during "prime time"; fish feeding hours?

Those precious few moments before twilight can be absolutely magical. Even up until 11pm at night, the largest predators of any species feed ravenously.

Don't believe me? Check out Daniel Eggertsen's story, and a picture of a couple of his catches here : "Evening Secrets plus more"

I want you to do me a favor and try it out so I can see what you think of it, and if it works for you as well as it did for me.

You will be one of the first to try it out.

Gone Fishin',

Neil
