Mistletoe Man

Yes, you guessed it. This is another China Bayles mystery by Susan Wittig Albert.

When Carl, the man who gathers Mistletoe for China is found dead, the first suspects are the sisters who live down the street. These sisters purchased land from Carl and have recently been having some trouble with him. China and Blackie go to visit the sisters and China can tell there is something bothering them. Since China knows the sisters, Blackie asks her to help him out by talking to them. Meanwhile, Ruby is acting a little different towards China and as it turns out - everyone. In order to keep Ruby's mind off of what is bothering her, China tells her about Carl's death and the possibility that the sisters were involved. China and Ruby decide to do some investigating on there own and of course they get themselves in trouble.

I thought this book was very good. I did think the ending was a little rushed and I would have liked the author to take more time in explaning everything.
