Monday Mourning by Kathy Reichs.
This is the latest in the Temp Brennan series. This one takes place in Montreal. Some bones are found in the basement of a pizza place. Temp is called in to determine if they are human or animal, unfortunately they are human. There are a total of 3 bodies found. While Temp thinks this is a high priority case, nobody else does because they feel the bones have been down there awhile. When Temp is able to prove the bones are less than 100 yrs old, after her apartment is broken into, and after some strange things start surfacing, the detectives finally decide to pay attention to this case.
I had a little bit of a tough time getting into this book but ended up really liking it.
