Rocky Road to Romance by Janet Evanovich is the first romance book I have read by the author. In fact, I don’t usually read romance. I thought this book was great! It was very face passed and funny, reminded me of the Plum series.
Daisy is a young women who is working on her doctorate, living on her own, and trying to make ends meet. She delivers papers in the morning, then works as a crossing guard, then works at a local tv station, then does her internship at a nursing home, goes to school, and waitresses. Things start to get out of hand when she actually works close to her boss, the guy that owns the radio station. It seems there is an instant attraction between the two.
