the curious incident of the dog in the night-time by Mark Haddon

Wow! What a good book. This is a story about one boy's quest to find who killed a neighbors dog. In doing this he learns some things about his family. This boy has some behavioral problems and it is written from hims point of view - so a very interesting read.

The reactions and responses of all the characters to the protagonist's autism seemed very realistic to me. Haddon really wrote an interesting, compelling and realistic tale. I think his blurb in the back said that he worked with autistic kids, so he definitely had a feel for them and the people most affected by thier condition.
