The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield

Wow - this turned out to be a great book. I had trouble getting into it - but that could just be me because the last couple of books I have read I have had this same problem. So who knows. But...once I got to the point where Margaret goes to Vida Winter and starts to hear her story - the book really picked up. I didn't want to put it down because I wanted to know about her life.
There is a popular author named Vida Winter - anytime somebody tries to get information about her past she just tells them a story. She is dying and contacts Margaret and tells her she would like to tell her the truth and would like Margaret to write her biography. The most interesting parts of the story, for me anyway, where when Vida was telling Margaret the stories of her ancestors and her life growing up in Angelfield.
I posted an entry regarding a contest for this book - I am posting it again below - I really liked this book and suggest all of you try to win a copy so you can read it for yourself.

Ahh, another postive review. :) I'm not scheduled to read this until February! I don't know if I can wait that long.
