Motor Mouth by Janet Evanovich

This is the second in the series. It has been awhile since I read the first in the series - so I can't really compare the two. I did enjoy this one. It was a fun, light read.
Barney works with Hooker at NASCAR. They had the last race for the season and are getting ready to go back home when she receives a call from another spotter. He hid himself in one of the trucks hauling the winners car and he can't get it. Hooker and Barney follow the truck until it stops, try to open the doors but can't - and can't find the remotes. They decide to then steel the truck so they can take it somewhere and get the doors open. Of course they then find a dead body and things just go downhill from there.
This isn't Stephanie Plum - but it's still full of laughs. I think this is a good book to read between other, more series ones.

Yes, it was a good book. I didn't think it was quite as good as the first one but that is what I heard so I went into it thinking like that. I really did enjoy it and hope for more. :)

I am glad to hear you like it. I have been on the fence about it, but I think I will get it!

I have just finished this book and am hopping around the blogesphere to see if others had the same opinion as me.

I just cannot believe how bad the storyline is, yet it succeeded in making me laugh and stay up late night reading it.
