Non-Fiction 5 Challenge

I will be participating in the Non-Fiction 5 Challange
I will include the info on the left in a list whenever I figure out how I want to do it. haha! I will also be including a link to Joy's Blog so you can read about the challenge.

I am going to list the books I am interested in reading. Obviously some are going to be alternates, right now I just can't make up my mind. I also think it will be determined on which books I am able to find for a good price. One of my person reading goals for the year is also to read one non-fiction book per month, so there is a good chance I will read most of these this year (or possibly next year), I'm just not sure which ones I will read for the challenge.

1)The Nazi Officer's Wife: How One Jewish Woman Survived the Holocaust by Edith H. Beer
2)Survivors: Cambodian Refugees in the United States by Chan Sucheng
3)Facing Death in Cambodia by Peter Maguire
4)Children of Cambodia's Killing Fields: Memoirs by Survivors
(just a note - per the challange - I will limit myself to only one book on Cambodia - I'm just not sure which one yet.)
5)But Enough About Me by Jancee Dunn
6)Geisha: A Life by Mineka Iwasaki
7)Every Step a Lotus Shoe: Shoes for Bound Feet by Dorothy Ko
8)In Search of Dracula: The History of Dracula and Vampires by Radu Florescu adn Raymond T. McNally
9)Jack the Ripper: First American Serial Killer by Stewart Evans and Paul Gainey
10) The People of the Abyss by Jack London

Hi Kris! I'm so glad you decided to join us. You've got a great list going there. It's been so much fun checking out the lists of all the participants.

I'll take care of linking this page on Mister Linky when I'm done here. Did you see all the participants names on that post? The box under all the names is where you would sign up. Don't worry about it though. I'll take care of it. :)

Happy Reading!

Looks like you have some interesting reading ahead of you, Kris! You and I both are considering the Nazi Officer's Wife, I see. :-) I look forward to seeing your final choices!

There's a lot of death on your list. Would you like to talk about it? ;D
