****Contest over****
I have a copy to give away for free to one lucky reader of my blog!!!! This is for the book The Kommandant's Girl by Pam Jenoff.

Please fill out the form, the info is secure - so I am the only one that will see it.
I thought it would be fun if you suggested a book to read that falls in the WWII category, either non-fiction or fiction. When I post who the winner is, I will also post a list of the suggested titles. I will email the winner for their mailing address. (you are welcome to enter both contests)
(those that have already left comments - no need to fill out the form)

You know me Kris. Can never pass up a chance for a book. Especially WWII. I want to recommend one I read a while ago called, We Band of Angels by Elizabeth M. Norman. This one takes place in the Philippines where the largest defeat and surrender of US forces took place. Caught up in this were 99 army and navy nurses who were captured and imprisoned by the japanese. A really awesome read.

This book sounds really interesting. I also like reading WW books. One that I absolutely love is Berlin Diaries.

I could never pass this up either. The one I recommend is The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom. Now mind you it has a Christiam theme to it but it is a great story of survival. :) Oh and it is non fiction.

I'm reading (or was reading - I'll get back to it) God is My Co-Pilot, which is a WWII book. I assume the title of that book led to the bumper stickers. I can't remember the author's name, at the moment, but I'll try to come back to let you know. It's good. The author was quite a rascal, as a boy.
