This is the first in the series.
Eve and Annie are long time friends and Eve signs them up for a cooking class in order to get Annie out of the house and over her misery of being recently divorced.
Then everything changes when they find a dead body outside the cooking store and it just happens to be that they saw him fighting with one of the ladies in their cooking class.
Eve wants to show up the detective, because he is an ex boyfriend, and convinces Annie to help her investigate the murder.
Hmm....really sure what I want to say about this one. It's not my favorite cozy. I had a hard time with Eve and Annie - couldn't really relate to them. I didn't hate the book - but I didn't really like it either. I assume there will be more in the series but I'm not sure if I will read them. I'll have to watch reviews and see what others think of this one.

Yes, cute cover - am reading it right now. I don't relate to Eve or Annie either - just a quick fun read.
