I told myself - no more challenges - just stick to the TBR challenge - but I just can't do it. I was browsing some of my favorite blogs yesterday and say some challenges I just can't pass up.
This is one of them. The Young Adult Challenge. It's being hosted by Thoughts of Joy.
Runs January - December
The goal: read 12 young adult books in 2008. Since I am becoming more and more interested in young adult books, I figured this would be great for me.
Here is my list so far. Joy does say we can change our list at any time, so I'm going to hold her to that. haha!
Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer
Airman by Eoin Colfer
Inkspell by Cornelia Funke
Dragon Rider by Cornelia Funke
The Fairy-tale Detectives by Michael Buckley
Skulduggery Pleasant: Playing with Fire by Derek Landy (released 04/22/2008)
The Debs by Susan McBride
The Field Guide (Spiderwick chronicles #1) by Holly Black and Toni Di'Terlizzi
A Door in the Woods (Book 1) by James Dashner
Dragonspell by Donita K. Paul
Princess in the Spotlight by Meg Cabot
Eragon by Christopher Paolini
Alternates:
Horseradish: Bitter Truths you Can't avoid by Lemony Snicket

Welcome to the YA Challenge! I'm so glad you gave in and decided to join us! :) You've got a great list there and yes, you most certainly may change it whenever the mood strikes. :)
Just a thought. "A Door in the Woods" is a fun book, but James Dashner has a brand new book coming out the first of March that is even better. It's called "The 13th Reality." It is very, very good.
I noticed several on your list I haven't read so now I'm heading over to Amazon.
