Friday Fill-In #60

1. Seeing new things and things I've only read about is the best thing about traveling.
2. I love a good warm blanket! when I'm cold.
3. I often use soda as a pick-me-up when I'm sad.
4.I'm reading Cane River by Lalita Tademy right now; I'm not sure how I feel about it.
5. Bathroom habits is something I dislike talking about (and my husband likes to talk about).
6. When I visited Germany I most looked forward to seeing Dachau.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to doing a whole lot of nothing, tomorrow my plans include looking at 2 houses and homework and Sunday, I want to look at another house, homework, babyshower, and dinner with the in-laws!

You can never have enough warm blankets! I imagine your visit to Dachau was very moving.

I hope you have a good weekend, even with the house hunting. It looks like moving may become a reality for me in a couple of years if the city has its way. They want to put a road right through our house. Funding will be an issue for them though and so I imagine if it happens at all, it'll be longer than the two predicted years.

Yes - Dachau was very moving. I think everyone should have the chance to visit a concentration camp at least once in their life.

Hopefully you won't have to move - unless you want to. haha!

Very interesting. My father actually was among the troops that liberated Dachau. It was horrible.

I am giving away an autographed copy of my friend, Missy's, book. I have an interview with her over at my place. Check it out.

Jane,
Wow - I just can't imagine what it must have been like for your father. It was horrible - it's something I'm glad I haven't had to experience in person and hope I never have to.
