Friday Fill-in #133

1. Mushrooms, Olive oil and thin spaghetti make a quick and easy dinner.

2.
Starvation Lake by Bryan Gruley is the book I'm reading right now.

3. July brings back memories of
vacationing in the mountains/forests with the family for 2 weeks when I have major allergy isseus - and no medication.

4.
That it was a stupid call was obvious.

5. They say if you tell your dreams
to friends, they will laugh at you. :)

6.
Sometimes I need time to think it over.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to
a book signing for Heather Brewer, tomorrow my plans include pool time if the weather is nice and Sunday, I want to hang out in the pool some more!

I hope you get to use the pool. Our weather here in SE Michigan has been horrible. Tomorrow our high is supposed to be 68... the lowest ever! I so want a redo on our summer weather. I guess the one good thing gis we are saving money on our electrical bill, but come on... I live for summer!

Oh, I love spaghetti! Maybe I'll talk hubby into making some tonight. :-)

How are you finding Starvation Lake? I would like to read that one.

Allergies! Ugh. Mine have been acting up a lot this month. Did you at least have a nice time otherwise on your vacation in the mountains that summer?

I hope you have a great weekend, Kris!

Kristie - low 70's today so unable to use the pool..but on the flip side it made my run this morning more enjoyable. haha! I live for summer too! Husband was working in the yard and kept saying how awesome the weather was, I just grumbled.

Literary Feline - I can't always do red sauce - very picky about the taste, and my husband loves spaghetti, so he makes normal red sauce for him and uses the mushrooms and olive oil for me - it's a win-win situation!

Starvation Lake is good so far. There seems to be a lot going on...differnt stories within the story...and not sure how much I like that. But over all enjoying it.

My allergies are horrible! We vacationed in the mountains for 2 weeks almost every summer growing up. So alllergies and altitude sickness always caused issues. But..it was a ton of fun playing in the woods and climbing cliffs. I would do it again (if I didn't have to camp in a tent. haha!)

Caspette - allergies do suck! I have 2 take two different kinds just to keep them from bothering me too much.

Hope you all have a great weekend too!
