Simple Description:
Lucy Burns has an older sister, Ellen. One day when the girls are young, Ellen is in a horrible car accident and ends up in a coma. Lucy writes a note to "whom it may concern" and puts it in the mailbox in the backyard that she and Ellen use for playing. Lucy asks that Ellen live and if so, she will be in debt to the person who gets the note. The next morning when Lucy wakes up, she finds out that Ellen is alive and fine. When Lucy goes to get her note, she finds one in return.

Lucy didn't realize that with that note, she made a pact with the devil.

Present day...Lucy is a young woman and estranged from her family. She finds sinners and has them go down her basements stairs and into hell. That's her job, she's a facilitator. It's too hard to have that kind of job and still keep your family safe, so that's why she is estranged from them.
On the outside Lucy apperas to have everything. She is beautiful, doesn't seem to need money, and can eat whatever she want and not gain weight. However she is very unhappy. She doesn't like what she does for a living. Then, by chance, she meets somebody who was once a faciliatotr. They found a loophole and were able to free themselves. Now Lucy must finish the three tasks required of her in order to be free. Will she be able to do it in time?

Now what you really want to know....my thoughts:
This was such a fun book! It's a fast read, not a thick book and the story keeps it going. Lucy is a great charactor and somebody I could see being friends with. I loved how she went about each task. I also loved her relationship with different people in the story. This is definitly a book I recomend to others.

Happy Reading.....and Thanks for stopping by! Kris

I haven't read a bad review of this book yet. It does sound like a lot of fun.

Bermudaonion - I read a lot of positive ones too....so glad that I still liked it as much as I did. Sometimes when I read too many positives, I expect the book to be out of this world, and I'm disappointed, but I didn't feel that way with this one.
