You're the queen of savings! Where do you find all of your coupons?
Is this part of a challenge group that you are in? Or a blog group that you belong to?
Bermudaonion - I get most from the coupon inserts included with the Sunday newspaper, I also have a group that I trade coupons with, and I get some online.
Stepfordmomto2 - I don't belove to any kind of group for coupons, it's something I do on my own. I do have some friends locally that I trade coupons with and I also have a couple of blogs I follow because they tell you about good deals. I mostly just keep track of what I save because I got tired of my husband and his parents making fun of me for couponing, now that they see how much I save they don't much as much fun of me.
I used to belong to a couponing group years ago. But since moving here it's fallen by the wayside. One of our markets used to double, but since they have decided to change that policy it's harder for me to get motivated.
Thanks for the kickstart. I should really try to challenge myself in the new year.
My best was $400.00 in groceries and cleaning products for $40.00.
What was your best ever?
Stepfordmomto2 - Impressive! I've never done that well! I don't normally pay attention to that part of the couponing but I do know that in January or February of this year I paid around $80 for a little over $200 worth of products. I can also get paperbacks at borders for less than $1. However that's because I spend so much there I get their borders bucks. haha! So I wait till i get a good coupon, then use that with the $5 border's bucks to purchase a paperback. But..I don't think that counts since I spend so much there anyway. haha!
