I really enjoyed this book and plan on reading the rest in the series. This is a cozy mystery. Helen is on the run. She left St. Louis and won't go back. She can only get dead-end jobs because she doesn't want her name on the payroll books or given to the government. She works at a very up-scale dress shop. The main sales lady seems to be just as rich as the regulars who shop there and Helen soon finds out why. It looks like the lady is selling vintage purses with drugs in them, Helen hears her talking to one customer about setting up a killing, and more. When the main lady ends up missing...Helen is scared she will be investigated by the cops and decides to solve the mystery herself.
