Trouble by Jesse Kellerman

Hmm - what to say about this book. I liked it - it held my interest. It took me a little bit to get used to the author's writting style, but only about 40-50 pages. As I kept reading...I came to understand that the style of writting really fit the main charactor and the story itself. I do recommend this book - it was different for me - but a really good read. I was able to get my hands on an advanced copy - so you can't get it yet but it comes out the middle of January - so you can all rush to the book store and get it then. haha!
Jonah Stem is the main charactor in this story. He is a med student, walking home late one night and hears a women scream. He runs to the sound and see's a guy who appears to have stabbed the women. He tries to get the guy to stop, tries to save the women, and in doing so - the other man is killed. Jonah soon learns that he is being sued by the late man's family. He also comes home one night to find Eve, the women he "saved", waiting for him in his apartment. They get along great until he starts to realize she isn't who she says she is. Then he can't get rid of her. She keeps calling, she follows him around, she scares him. He can't get the police to do anything about it and he is scared for his life. He then learns that he might not have been saving her at all.
I'll leave you with that. haha!
