Emma works for the local newspaper and is out trying to sell advertising when she meets Oliver. He is just the sort of man her father was and she wants to stay far away from home. However, it looks like Oliver has other plans. He convinces his friend, and owner of the newspaper to allow him to fly Emma to her 3 destinations for interviews on Fruitcake.
Emma is terrified of flying in the plain and doesn't want to get to know Oliver. However....as we can all guess because it's a Debbie Macomber Christmas story, she soon realizes that she is attracted to Oliver. Oliver shows her that Christmas is worth celebrating again.
